ERROR:rls:rls_handle_subscribe: No 'Support: eventlist' header found

mahesh.peddi
Hi,

When i am registering with UCTIMSCLIENT, subscribe message is going through
UE to RLS. When i check the traces, i didnot find "supported : eventlist" in
the SIP header of subscribe message. And when i check in the
/varlog/messages for errors i am getting
"ERROR:rls:rls_handle_subscribe: No 'Support: eventlist' header found".
Please help me on this to resolve the issue.

Thanks in Advance.
Regrads,
Mahesh

Re: ERROR:rls:rls_handle_subscribe: No 'Support: eventlist' header found

Anca Vamanu
Hi Mahesh,

The RLS RFC ( 4662) defines a compulsory Supported header to be included
in RLS Subscribe requests - 'Subscribe: eventlist'.
You must include this in your request.

Anca

Hi Mahesh,

I don't know what ts_124141v080200p.pdf is. Google doesn't either.
But you have to follow RFC 4662.

Mahesh,

If the UCT Ims Client does not send Supported: Eventlist, he does not support it. This is not an OpenSER problem.

In your example (which is quite OT for OpenSER mailing list btw), the free fields are similar to previous requests.

And if you check A.3.3.1-1, there is (acc. RFC and also what Anca wrote) a Supported: eventlist from the client. As P-S and S-RLS, those fields are free, they are unchanged, meaning sent to the RLS under normal circumstances. But as already mentioned, check if you client sent it in the first place.

BR
Sebastian

PS: Try www.mercuro.net, it supports this Event.

Hi Anca,

Thanks for your response. I added the 'Supported: eventlist' in the
UCTIMSCLINET.
But i dint find the NOTIFY response  from Presence server to RLS server. I
added t_relay in the configuration file, but the subscribe message is not
going to Presence server.
Because the RLS is not returning response code 10 .Do i need  to make
changes in the SIP message header?
Could you suggest me which client will support the RLS functionality? Please
guide me on this.

Regards,
Mahesh

Re: ERROR:rls:rls_handle_subscribe: No 'Support: eventlist' header found

Anca Vamanu
Hi Mahesh,

The response code for rls_handle_subscribe can be configured with the
exported rls module parameter "to_presence_code". You should set it the
value you use to compare the return code for rls_handle_subscribe before
calling handling subscribe in presence.
modparam("rls",  "to_presence_code",  10).
In 1.4 release, the default value was not 10. It is a miss out in the
configuration file example on the site and I will correct it.

regards,
Anca
