Error on t_release

bay2x1
I am integrating openxcap and I have copied the opensips configuration as instructed in the installation guide. But everytime that I run opensips it fails to run. Here is the log error

Mar  9 10:10:35 ws16 opensips: CRITICAL:core:yyerror: parse error in config file, line 548, column 23-24: unknown command, missing loadmodule?#012
Mar  9 10:10:35 ws16 opensips: CRITICAL:core:yyerror: parse error in config file, line 565, column 31-32: unknown command, missing loadmodule?#012
Mar  9 10:10:35 ws16 opensips: CRITICAL:core:yyerror: parse error in config file, line 582, column 35-36: unknown command, missing loadmodule?#012
Mar  9 10:10:35 ws16 opensips: CRITICAL:core:yyerror: parse error in config file, line 592, column 7-11: syntax error

line 548, 565, and 582 points to t_release() but the tm module is already loaded

line 592 points to "} else if( is_method("SUBSCRIBE")) {"

Any idea on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated

Re: Error on t_release

Bogdan-Andrei Iancu
Hi,

t_release() function was obsoleted in 1.5 - no need for it. So, just
remove it.

Regards,
Bogdan

Re: Error on t_release

I have already removed the t_release() function in my configuration file. I am now encountering segfault error in pua.so.

Hi,

Do you get a core file? Can you please inspect it with gdb and print
here the backtrace?

Thanx for the immediate reply. Can you point me to any link that discusses how to use the gdb.  I am a newbie in LINUX operating system. By the way I am using Fedora Core 10.

Go to the directory where the coredump is (probably
in /var/run/opensips/corefiles). An run:

  ~# gdb opensips corefile

(You need gdb installed).

You will enter in a gdb console, so run:

  gdb>  bt

I tried your instruction but there was no opensips folder. And I seems not to be able to find the opensips core folder...

Go to the directory where the coredump is (probably
in /var/run/opensips/corefiles). An run:

  ~# gdb opensips corefile

(You need gdb installed).

You will enter in a gdb console, so run:

Re: Error on t_release

Bogdan-Andrei Iancu
The first parameter gdb takes (opensips) is not a folder but the
opensips binary (a file) you know where you have your opensips
installed, so point to it with the entire path.

Bogdan

In reply to this post by bay2x1
Hi,

I think that you get this error because you loaded presence_xcapdiff
module before the pua module. In the module's Readme it is specified
that the pua module must be loaded before.

Anca
