Re: OpenXCAP Test Examples

ASHWINI NAIDU
hi server monitor,

This error is becos of the python-mysqldb which you are using doesn't support the kind of stream data you are trying to send. If the python-mysqldb(which supports and clears the following errors)  is upgraded there is a reconnect error. i am yet to find the solution for this. if you find the solution please let me know.

Re: OpenXCAP Test Examples

server monitor
Thanks Aswini, is there any scenario in which openxcap will run?

Is there another project out there that will let you test presence docs and resource lists?

I have managed to get everything to compile on Fedora core and very hesitant to start experimenting with mysqldb.

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks,
Rob

help needed for auth-radius

Jinsong Hu

Hi, There :
I am trying to use auth-radius module in opensips 1.5, and it doesn't work. I turned on the debug mode for freeradius,
and got this log. indeed, I noticed that the message doesn't contain a row for password
like this:
User-Password = "1234567890"

does any body know what I am missing here ? I am running freeradius 1.1.7 version, with freeradius-ng client.
I suspect that the client config file needs change, but don't know how.

can anybody help ?

Jimmy

Re: OpenXCAP Test Examples

ASHWINI NAIDU
In reply to this post by server monitor
Server monitor,

As per i know i haven't found anything other than openxcap. i have also got it working till where you have achieved on debian 4, CENTOS 5. Actually with debian 5 everything is working working fine including the put,get and delete methods with openxcap and sip-simple client. But still on my way to discover how to use it properly.

Jimmy,

Have you installed all dictionaries which are required? What kind of
radius server are you using?

Jimmy,

could you repeat the request after starting freeradius with -X. I am
using freeradius-2 with libradiusclient-ng.

Re: OpenXCAP Test Examples

osiris123d
In reply to this post by ASHWINI NAIDU
In my experience I couldn't get OpenXCAP to work on Ubuntu Intrepid. It would install and look like it was working, but I would have authentication issues with client PUTs. Once I spun up an install of Debian 5 and install OpenXCAP my authentication PUT issues went away and everything worked like a champ. I am sure the PUT authentication had something to do with a package dependency in Ubuntu, but I am not.

I`m at a loss at this point. Is anyone willing to upload an image of a known working install?

Is there another project out there that will let you test presence docs and resource lists?

I have managed to get everything to compile on Fedora core and very hesitant to start experimenting with mysqldb.

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks,

Have you installed OpenXCAP on a Debian 5 Server yet? Try that out.

Actually with debian 5 everything is working working fine including the put,get and delete methods with openxcap and sip-simple client. But still on my way to discover how to use it properly.

If the python-mysqldb(which supports and clears the following errors)  is upgraded there is a reconnect error. i am yet to find the solution for this. if you find the solution please let me know.

Re: help needed for auth-radius

Jinsong Hu
In reply to this post by Uwe Kastens
The freeradius I got come from http://cdrtool.ag-projects.com/wiki/Install
I installed it via
apt-get install freeradius-xs freeradius-xs-mysql
command as listed there in debian lenny. I checked the version of the
installed
freeradius, it is 1.1.7 . according to the instruction , it is a patched
version.

attached is the result of "freeradius -X". the client I used is
libradiusclient-ng2 in
debian lenny.  I suspect that client.conf or radiusd.conf some configuration
is wrong,
but I just don't know what is wrong.

Re: help needed for auth-radius

Uwe Kastens
Hi,

What looks strange is, that the digest attributes are not showing in
cleartext. Therefore I would think that your radiusclient-ng is missing
the dictionaries.

This is how the end of my dictionary file looks like for the radiusclient-ng

$INCLUDE        dictionary.sip
$INCLUDE        dictionary.opensips
$INCLUDE        dictionary.openser
