Summary: broken prepared statements in mysql / siptrace
Recent commits to the devel/head version of OpenSIPS 1.5 have broken my sip trace. I believe this is due to new prepared statement functionality included with the db_mysql module.
Below is a except from syslog
Feb 2 16:23:43 sip opensips: DBG:siptrace:trace_onreply_out: storing info...
Feb 2 16:23:43 sip opensips: DBG:db_mysql:has_stmt_ctx: ctx found for sip_trace
Feb 2 16:23:43 sip opensips: DBG:db_mysql:db_mysql_do_prepared_query: set values for the statement run
Feb 2 16:23:43 sip opensips: ERROR:db_mysql:db_mysql_val2str_nq: destination buffer too short
Feb 2 16:23:43 sip opensips: ERROR:db_mysql:db_mysql_do_prepared_query: val2str() failed for i=0 (1)
Feb 2 16:23:43 sip opensips: ERROR:siptrace:trace_onreply_out: error storing trace
Indeed, the problem seems to be the too short val buffer used for preparing
the statement - I will investigate the possibility of increasing the buffer
and what are the possible side effects for it. If not possible, I will
disable the prepared statements for the siptrace module as this module is
using large amount of date to transfer to DB (the sip messages).
